  • Journalist or Social Commentator

  • Clergy or Chaplain

Transfer Options

CCC has established agreements with Arizona’s public universities so the credits you earn here are recognized when you transfer. Humanities courses fulfill your AGEC Arts and Humanities requirements and, depending on which courses you choose, may also fulfill special requirements that your receiving university looks for in a transfer student.

The AGEC (Arizona General Education Curriculum) is a set of foundational courses that every Arizona public university requires. Complete them at CCC and they transfer automatically, no matter which university you choose or what you plan to major in. Many of the courses in this area, including philosophy, history, music and religion, count toward your AGEC Arts and Humanities requirements.

Please meet with an Advisor to discuss options.

Career Outlook

Think of the AGEC as a checklist every Arizona university wants you to complete before you graduate. Knock those courses out at CCC first and they follow you when you transfer, saving you time and money. Many of the courses in this area count toward that checklist, meaning you are making progress toward your bachelor's degree from day one.
