Tutoring Services
Free Tutoring for Every Student
what to expect
Tutoring at CCC is a free service available to all enrolled students. Tutors will not do your work for you. Instead, they help you strengthen your understanding, develop effective study strategies, and become a more independent learner.
Subjects and support areas
Tutoring is primarily skills-based, with the strongest support available in writing, mathematics, and other foundational courses. If you do not see your subject listed, contact us and we will help connect you with available resources.
Ways to meet with a tutor
We offer multiple ways to connect with support that fits your schedule and learning preferences.
In-Person Tutoring
- Lone Tree Campus: Most subjects
- Page Campus: English and math
- Fourth Street Campus: Nursing
Virtual Tutoring
Meet with a tutor from anywhere. Virtual tutoring is available for most subjects and is open to all CCC students.
How to schedule an appointment
We use the Nimbus app to manage all tutoring appointments.
Here is how it works:
- Download the Nimbus app
- Search by course and choose your tutor
- Schedule your appointment
Need to cancel? No problem. Use the “unregister” option in the Nimbus app to cancel your appointment ahead of time.

Tutoring is available at no cost to currently enrolled CCC students, including dual enrollment students. Tutoring resources are not available to the general public.

Come prepared with specific questions and bring any materials that will help your tutor support you, such as your syllabus, assignments, notes, or study guide.

Yes. Virtual tutoring is available for most subjects and can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection.
- What if my course or subject is not listed?
Tutoring support is strongest in skills-based areas such as writing and mathematics. If you do not see your course listed, contact us and we will help connect you with available resources.

No. Tutoring and testing are separate services. Tutors can help you prepare for quizzes and exams, but they do not administer tests or assist you while you are taking an exam.
