How to Apply to CCC
1. Create your account and submit your application. It is free and takes just a few minutes. No test scores or transcripts required to apply.
2. Check your email. You will receive a confirmation and next steps from CCC Admissions within a few business days.
3. Connect with an advisor. Your advisor will help you choose courses, explore financial aid, and build a plan that fits your goals.
4. Register for classes. Search the course schedule and register for the classes that are right for you.
5. Get ready for day one. Set up your student account, explore campus or online resources, and get started as a Comet.

Admissions FAQS
Do I need good grades or test scores to apply?
No. CCC has an open enrollment policy, which means everyone is welcome regardless of GPA or test scores. Some courses have specific placement or prerequisite requirements, and an advisor can help you navigate those.
Is there really no application fee?
Correct. Becoming a Comet is completely free to start.
What if I am not sure what I want to study?
That is completely fine and very common. Advisors at CCC can help you explore your interests, identify programs that fit your goals, and map out a plan. You do not need to have everything figured out before you apply.
Can I apply if I did not finish high school?
Yes. CCC welcomes students with a GED, high school equivalency, or who are 18 years or older and ready to begin college-level coursework. Contact Admissions for more information about your specific situation.
When should I apply?
As early as possible. CCC accepts applications year-round, but applying early gives you more time to meet with an advisor, explore financial aid, and register for the classes you want before they fill.
