If you have taken for-credit courses at CCC within the past five years, you do not need to reapply. Simply log in to your student account and register for classes.
If it has been more than five years, you will need to submit a new application. It is free, takes about 10 minutes, and gets you back on track quickly. Once you are back in the system, an advisor can help you review where you stand, revisit your academic plan, and figure out the best path forward from here.

Steps to Reapply
Please reapply if you have not taken classes at CCC within the past 5 years.
If you have taken classes within the past 5 years, you can simply log into your myCCC account and register for courses. Need help? Contact us.

- Submit your CCC application
You will receive an email confirmation from CCC admissions with your next steps. - Set up your student account
You will receive instructions by email on how to activate your CCC student account. Once it is active, all future communication from CCC will go to your student email, so check it regularly. Admissions staff may reach out requesting additional documents to complete your enrollment, so keep and eye out and respond promptly. - Apply for financial aid
Don’t skip this step! There are several options available to help you cover the cost of your education, including the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), scholarships, and the Comet Promise. - Meet with your Advisor.
Your advisor will help you figure out course placement, choose your first classes, and map out a plan for your first semester. - Register for classes.
Once you have your plan, you will register for classes through your student portal. - Pay tuition and fees

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to reapply to CCC?
It depends on how long you have been away. If you have taken for-credit courses at CCC within the past five years, you do not need to reapply. Simply log in to your student account and register for classes. If it has been more than five years, you will need to submit a new application. It is free and takes about 10 minutes.
How do I register for classes when I come back?
Once you are back in the system, you can search and register for classes directly through CCC’s Self Service portal. Step-by-step instructions are available on CCC’s Student How-To Guides page if you need a refresher on how to navigate registration.
Do I need to meet with an advisor before I register?
It is strongly recommended. An advisor can help you review where your previous coursework left off, update your educational plan, and make sure you are on the most efficient path toward your goal. You can schedule an appointment through CCC’s advising page. If you are planning to transfer to NAU, make sure to schedule with a CCC2NAU advisor specifically.
What if I have questions about my previous financial aid or account balance?
Contact CCC’s Enrollment and Student Financial Services team directly. They can help you sort out any outstanding questions about your account before you register so there are no surprises.
