The CCC ECO BUS PASS
Pass Details
Find out what’s included with your ECO Bus Pass, how long it is valid, and what you need to know before riding.

- Annual pass cost: $28.50 (while supplies last)
- One pass per student, per year
- Passes are non-transferable

Getting to the Lone Tree Campus By Bus
Two Mountain Line routes serve the CCC Lone Tree Campus directly:
- Route 4 (Gold): Downtown Connection Center to Lake Mary Road via Milton Road, with a stop at Coconino Community College via Lone Tree Road. Peak service runs every 20 minutes.
- Route 14 (Brown): Downtown Connection Center to Coconino Community College via Lone Tree Road and N. Milton Road.
During peak hours, buses arrive approximately every 20 minutes, making it a reliable option for most class schedules.
HOw to Get a bus pass
Complete a short application and visit Student Accounts to purchase and pick up your ECO Bus Pass.
- Complete the online ECO Bus Pass application form.
- Visit the Student Accounts Office at the Lone Tree Campus.
- Pay the discounted pass fee and pick up your pass.
- Use the orange ecoPASS card when boarding. Tap it on the card reader and wait for the green light.
- Bring your CCC student ID. Drivers may ask to see it.

Whether you bike, carpool, or use other transit options, there are several ways to get around Flagstaff and reach campus.
- Biking: CCC’s Lone Tree Campus is accessible via the City of Flagstaff’s FUTS pedestrian and bike trail system
- Carpooling: Coordinate with classmates who live nearby to share the commute
- NAU Campus Shuttle: If you are a CCC2NAU student spending time on NAU’s campus, NAU operates three public transit routes: Louie, Jacks, and AXELite
Frequently Asked QUestions
- Is my pass from last year still valid?
No. ECO Bus Passes expire each year, and continuing students must obtain a new pass for the current academic year.
- Can someone else use my pass?
No. ECO Bus Passes are non-transferable and may only be used by the student or employee to whom they were issued. You may be asked to show your CCC ID when riding, and passes used by someone else may be confiscated.
- What if passes are sold out?
Pass availability is limited and passes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. If passes are no longer available, contact Student Accounts for information about future availability
- What if I leave CCC during the year?
Your ECO Bus Pass is only valid while you are a current CCC student or employee. If you leave the college, your pass expires upon separation from CCC or at the end of the pass term, whichever comes first.
- I do not have an ECO Pass. Can I still ride Mountain Line?
Yes. Mountain Line offers other fare options, including single-ride fares, day passes, and longer-term passes that can be purchased directly from Mountain Line.
