CCC’s Adult Education program offers free classes to Coconino County residents who want to earn a High School Equivalency Diploma or build English language skills. Both programs are open to adults at least 16 years old who are legally present in the United States. 

There is no cost to enroll. Classes are offered in person, via Zoom, and online, so you can find a format that fits your schedule and situation. Whether you are working toward a diploma, learning English for the first time, or looking to open up new career and education opportunities, CCC’s Adult Education team is here to help you get started. 

New students are accepted throughout the year. You do not have to wait until fall

High School Equivalency (GEP - PREP)

If you did not finish high school or want to earn a High School Equivalency Diploma, CCC’s GED Prep program can help you get there. Study plans are personalized to meet you where you are, and the program offers one-on-one tutoring, in-person classes, virtual instruction via Zoom, and independent online study options. 


CCC also offers free Official GED Practice Tests and opportunities to have the GED exam fully funded for eligible students. CCC's GED Prep program helps adults build the reading, writing, math, science, and social studies skills needed to prepare for the GED exam.

You'll receive personalized support, flexible learning options, and guidance every step of the way. Classes are free and open to Coconino County residents who meet eligibility requirements.

English as a Second Language (ESL)

CCC’s ESL program offers free English language classes for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Classes are welcoming, practical, and designed to help you build confidence in English for daily life, work, and future education. 


New students are accepted throughout the year. You do not need to speak any English to get started. CCC’s ESL program begins at the True Beginner level, and your placement assessment will help determine the right starting point for you.
