Disability Resources partners with students, faculty, and staff to provide reasonable and appropriate accommodations for eligible CCC students. Services are individually tailored, free of charge, and available to all enrolled students who qualify.
Services include:
Getting accommodations at CCC is a straightforward process. Here is what it looks like:
Step 1: Submit a Request
Complete the online Request for Accommodations Form. You can submit at any time, but the earlier the better so your accommodations are in place when classes begin. Processing can take up to four weeks.
Step 2: Provide Documentation (if available)
You may be asked to provide documentation from a qualified professional. If you do not have documentation, submit your request anyway. Our team will work with you on next steps. View our Documentation Guidelines here.
Step 3: Meet with Disability Resources
A DR staff member will contact you to schedule a meeting. During this meeting, we will talk about your experience and needs, review documentation, and discuss possible accommodations.
Step 4: Receive Your Letter of Accommodation
If you are eligible, you will receive a Letter of Accommodation outlining your approved accommodations. Once your accommodations are in place, they apply going forward, not to work you have already submitted or grades you have already received. That is why reaching out early matters.
Step 5: Share With Your Instructors
You are responsible for sharing your Letter of Accommodation with your instructors each semester you choose to use your accommodations. DR can help you with this process if needed.
If you had an IEP or 504 Plan in high school, college works a little differently. You are not expected to know the process before you start, and our team is available to help.

Disability Resources can meet with you remotely or in person at the Lone Tree Campus. In-person meetings at the Fourth Street Campus are available by request.
