What is the student emergency fund?
The CCC Student Emergency Support Fund provides short-term financial assistance to currently enrolled CCC students who are facing unexpected, non-tuition expenses that threaten their ability to stay in school. The fund is made possible through the generosity of donors to the CCC .
What Can The Fund Help With?
Emergency funds are intended for immediate, non-tuition needs, including:
- Rent or utilities
- Transportation and car repairs
- Childcare or dependent care
- Groceries and basic necessities
- Medical or dental expenses
- Other unexpected emergencies that directly impact your ability to attend classes
How much Assistance is available?
Students may apply for up to $500 per academic year. Awards are based on demonstrated need and fund availability.
How to apply
- Contact the Foundation office to request an emergency fund application
- Complete the application describing your situation and the assistance needed
- Submit any required documentation
- Allow time for review
- Receive your award
Note: The Emergency Fund Is Not a Loan
Emergency fund awards do not need to be repaid. They are one-time grants made possible by CCC Foundation donors who believe in keeping students on track.
