CCC Teal Ticket
A Promise for the Future
What the Teal Ticket Represents
The Teal Ticket is more than a certificate or symbolic award. It represents CCC’s commitment to removing barriers to education, helping students and families dream early, and making college feel possible from the very beginning of a child’s educational journey. We are planting seeds of possibility for KinderCamp students and families.
Who Recieves a Teal Ticket
Students who participate in United Way of Northern Arizona’s KinderCamp receive a CCC Teal Ticket. KinderCamp is a free, four-week program designed to help young learners, especially those with limited or no preschool experience, build confidence and prepare for kindergarten.
What the Teal Ticket provides
The Teal Ticket provides a future tuition-free pathway to CCC after high school graduation. It gives students and families a long-term promise: when the student completes high school, CCC will be there as an accessible, affordable next step.
The Pathway: CCC To Nau
The Teal Ticket connects with NAU’s Gold Ticket. Students who complete their associate degree at CCC may become eligible to continue to Northern Arizona University tuition-free to complete a bachelor’s degree. Together, the Teal Ticket and Gold Ticket create a pathway from kindergarten readiness to a college degree.
Why This Matters
The Teal Ticket helps students and families see college as attainable long before high school. It reinforces that higher education is not only for students who already know the path, but also for families who may need encouragement, guidance, and support along the way. It also reflects CCC’s mission as the community’s college: opening doors, reducing barriers, and building stronger futures across Coconino County.
